About the Role

Mission Support Specialist - Europe

Who we are

Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale. Our team culture is fast, hands-on, and obsessed with closing the gap between design and deployment.

As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.

What you will be doing

As the European Mission Success Lead, you will enable Neros end-users to achieve maximum impact with our FPV systems. You will become an expert in the Neros Archer platform, supporting operators in the field by solving issues, refining workflows, and delivering the hands-on training they need to succeed. You will also act as the vital link between customers and our engineering team — identifying recurring issues, capturing operational evidence, and recommending improvements to shape the next generation of Neros products.

Responsibilities

• Leading setup, integration, testing, and deployment of Neros FPV systems in operational environments.

• Delivering flight demonstrations, onboarding sessions, and operator training packages.

• Troubleshooting technical issues in real-world conditions and ensuring rapid fixes.

• Capturing user feedback and field data to identify trends and influence production and engineering improvements.

• Representing Neros at trials, customer engagements, and key industry events.

• Acting as the primary technical interface for UK and EMEA customers post-sale.

You should have the following

• Credible military experience, ideally with hands-on sUAS/FPV operations.

• Comprehensive knowledge of FPV drones and systems.

• Practical understanding of FPV builds, tuning, maintenance, and flying.

• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical problems and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven experience working in or alongside defence/military organisations.

• Self-starter, able to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure startup environment.

• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Europe to support trials, training, and customer operations.

Nice to have

• 3+ years in the defense industry.

• Existing network of military/defense contacts.

• FAA Part 107 Pilot License.

• GVC (General Visual Line of Sight Certificate).

• Experience operating under the UK Specific Category (SORA/PDRA framework).
