What you will be doing

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Systems Administrator with deep expertise in Microsoft 365 engineering and a broad background in business applications administration. This role will own our enterprise collaboration, identity, and systems infrastructure. The Infrastructure & Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, deployment, and management of Microsoft 365 services, Windows server infrastructure, and multiple SaaS applications. The ideal candidate brings advanced technical skills, strong security awareness, and a passion for building scalable, reliable IT systems that drive business growth

You should have the following

• Microsoft 365 Administration

• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Intune).

• Provide PowerShell automation for user lifecycle, reporting, and system optimization.

• Windows Systems Engineering

• Design, deploy, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure (including AD CS, ADFS, IIS).

• Build repeatable, scalable architectures with high availability, performance tuning, and monitoring.

• Administrate hybrid Active Directory environment with Entra ID integration.

• Oversee Intune device management and standard system configurations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced Windows OS and server issues.

• Security

• Implement and audit compliance requirements (NIST 800-171, ITAR, EAR).

• Partner with InfoSec to apply security best practices and hardening standards.

• Other

• Strong knowledge of network protocols, LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, DNS/DHCP, and wireless infrastructure.

• Experience with Cisco Meraki or equivalent network/security platforms.

• Familiarity with backup systems, disaster recovery strategies, and failover planning.

• Experience administrating and supporting additional corporate business systems such as, Slack, Notion, HRIS, Financial and Engineering applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure as code.

• Familiarity with system auditing, monitoring, and automated remediation platforms

• Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., defense, healthcare, finance) with security, auditing, and compliance requirements such as NIST 800-171, ITAR, and CMMC

US Salary Range

$145,000 - $170,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
