What you'll be doing

• Responsible for documenting, researching, and responding to technical requests from customers, prospective customers, and partners

• Provide remote and onsite technical support to Neros customers as needed

• Serve as internal resource to BD team on technical matters

• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides to support customers and streamline technical operations

• Document and escalate technical insights and field observations to inform product improvements, working closely with Applications Engineering and Mission Success

• Serve as a subject matter expert on FPV systems to guide Mission Success and internal teams

• Support internal teams at customer-facing events and demonstrations, occasionally assisting in representing the product

to external stakeholders

You should have the following

• 2-3 years in a technical or applications engineering role, preferably within the drone, robotics, or hardware startups

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate strongly preferred, with experience applying it in operational or customer-facing contexts

• Deep familiarity with FPV drone systems, including flight controllers,  firmware, ESCs, radio and video transmitters, batteries, and ground stations

• Skilled in configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting FPV drones and related software (e.g., Betaflight, INAV, or similar platforms)

• Hands-on experience flying and maintaining FPV drones (manual/acro flight required)

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics and work closely with end-users

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and solve technical issues efficiently

• Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently while taking direction from a more senior lead

US Salary Range

$90,000+ USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
