The company has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) powered technology stack purpose-built for commercial trucking and the public sector. The company delivers freight daily for its customers across the southern United States using its autonomous technology. In 2024, Kodiak became the first known company to publicly announce delivering a driverless semi-truck to a customer. Kodiak is also leveraging its commercial self-driving software to develop, test and deploy autonomous capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense.
We are hiring a Materials Handler to help support our warehouse and field operations in West Texas.
In this role, you will:
• Read production schedules, work orders, shipping orders, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
• Support packaging and shipping of materials to Kodiak and supplier facilities
• Sort and place materials or parts on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shop and field techs
• Transport stored items from warehouse to field or to pick up items from several locations for shipment
• Maintain a clean and healthy work environment
• Regularly lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
• Complete other duties as assigned
