Job Summary:We need you to help ensure the unbreakable integrity of defense-grade materials - optimizing destructive and non-destructive testing processes that guarantee mission-critical performance.

Have you engineered high-stakes testing processes in defense or aerospace environments? Do you excel at validating materials through hardness and ultrasonic testing? Have you driven optimizations that meet stringent defense specs and customer requirements? We need a seasoned Process Engineer to develop and refine industrial destructive and non-destructive test processes for defense-grade steel forgings. With 5–7 years of experience in process engineering within defense, aerospace, or complex manufacturing, including hardness testing and ultrasonic testing of metals, plus expertise in FAI, CpK/PpK analysis, SPC, root cause tools like 8D and 5-Why, and tools such as JMP, Python, Minitab, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop and optimize processes for defense-grade steel forgings, ensuring compliance with defense and customer specifications.

• Support First Article Inspections (FAI) and process validations to achieve qualification milestones.

• Perform CpK/PpK analysis and apply root cause tools (8D, 5-Why) to maintain process capability and resolve issues.

• Utilize SPC and statistical tools (JMP, Python, Excel) for process monitoring and continuous improvement.

• Drive Lean and Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical challenges and ensure smooth production flow.

• Provide technical guidance to process technicians and operators across multiple shifts.

Required Qualifications:• US Person - Must be a US Citizen or green card holder

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.

• Experience: 5–7 years in process engineering within defense, aerospace, or complex manufacturing environments; experience hardness testing, ultrosonic testing of metals.

• Technical Skills: CpK/PpK analysis, SPC, RCCA tools (8D, 5-Why), proficiency in JMP, Python is required

• Work Style: Hands-on problem solver; detail-oriented; thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

• Soft Skills: Strong communicator; collaborative team player; proactive in identifying and resolving issues.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs in a shop environment with heat and noise.
