Job Summary:

Looking for a lead-from-the-front, professional Maintenance Supervisor ready to charge into battle. Is your home toolbox an ode to obsessive order and cleanliness? Do you thrive on creating and driving precision maintenance processes and documentation? Do you believe the job's not done till everything is clean, tools are put away, and the work orders are closed? We need a battle-hardened Maintenance Supervisor to command a shift of multicraft technicians in our high-volume, highly automated steel parts factory. With 7+ years of heavy industrial experience and 3+ years as a supervisor, you'll lead data-driven troubleshooting, foster a culture of safety, and ensure our defense-critical operations run with unyielding precision and efficiency. Expect high stakes, tight deadlines, and a hands-on, "in the trenches" approach to keep our factory fortified.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a shift of multicraft technicians on a 12-hour shift, directing operations with tactical precision.

• Be an expert at people development and growth, mentoring your team to peak performance.

• Drive a culture of safety in our high-volume, highly automated steel parts factory, enforcing protocols that protect the mission.

• Conduct data-driven troubleshooting and repair to minimize downtime and maximize uptime in a fast-paced environment.

• Deliver clear communication and solid technical writing skills for breakdown analysis and after-action reports, ensuring lessons learned fortify future operations.

• Master industrial hydraulics (servos + proportional valve systems), power transmission systems, pneumatics, PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley or Siemens), 480-volt troubleshooting, and low-voltage troubleshooting to keep equipment battle-ready.

Required Qualifications:

o Experience: Heavy industrial experience (7+ years); previous experience as a supervisor (3+ years); proven leadership in high-stakes, automated manufacturing environments.

o Technical Skills: Expertise in industrial hydraulics (servos + proportional valve systems), power transmission systems, pneumatics, PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley or Siemens), 480-volt troubleshooting, and low-voltage troubleshooting.

o Leadership/Work Style: Hands-on, "in the trenches" grit; expert in people development; thrives under pressure with a focus on safety and precision.

o Soft Skills: Clear communicator; strong technical writer; data-driven problem-solver; team leader with a commitment to order and cleanliness.

o Physical Requirements: Ready to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), and engage directly on the shop floor in a dynamic industrial setting.

o Welding expertise.

o Machining / CNC lathes / mills proficiency.

o CMMS system experience.

o Rigging / millwright skills.

o Robotics knowledge.

o Training facilitation abilities.

o Gas heating systems mastery.

o Heat treating processes.

o Forging operations.

o Chemical coatings application.

o Condition-based maintenance inspections.

o Infrared / ultrasound / vibration analysis.
