Factory Systems Administrator - ERP & MES

Why This Role ExistsAs we scale into production, our factory operations rely on integrated digital systems that connect people, machines, and data. The Factory Systems Administrator ensures our ERP, MES, and quality management tools operate seamlessly—bridging IT, manufacturing, and compliance.

You’ll own configuration, user management, and data integrity across our core business systems, ensuring secure, reliable, and auditable operations aligned with DoD cybersecurity and CUI handling requirements.

What You’ll Do• Administer and maintain ERP, MES, and related business platforms (e.g., inventory, purchasing, planning, QMS, CMMS).

• Configure workflows, user roles, and access controls in alignment with internal policy and CMMC compliance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system or integration issues with engineering, production, and IT teams.

• Manage system updates, patching, and backups in coordination with security and infrastructure leads.

• Build reports and dashboards to support operations, finance, and compliance.

• Document procedures, configurations, and changes for audit readiness.

• Support onboarding and training for new users across departments.

• Partner with software engineering to integrate custom factory software with ERP/QMS/CMMS systems.

What You Bring• 3–5 years administering ERP or MES systems in manufacturing, defense, or aerospace.

• Strong understanding of business processes across supply chain, production, inventory, and finance.

• Experience with one or more: Odoo, Quickbooks, Netsuite, 1Factory, MaintainX, or similar systems.

• Familiarity with SQL, data extraction, and reporting tools.

• Knowledge of access control models, backup strategies, and change management processes.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• U.S. Person (citizen or permanent resident) eligible for DoD clearance.

Bonus Points For:• Experience in a defense or ITAR-controlled environment.

• Working knowledge of CMMC, NIST 800-171, or DFARS 7012 compliance.

• Prior exposure to manufacturing automation, MES, or PLM systems.

• Scripting or integration experience (Python, PowerShell, REST APIs).
