Job Summary:

As a Supply Planner at Epirus, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production flow and key developmental goals of our innovative HPM systems. Working closely with the Procurement, engineering and manufacturing departments, you will help execute effective, creative, and smart supply chain strategies to achieve our ambitious production goals.  Please note that this role is a six month contract with the potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and developing inventory level targets, aligning demand-supply signals and allocations.

• Proactively provide status and updates to Epirus management, supply chain and engineering teams on all critical supply issues.

• Manage and execute MRP planning messages in a timely manner.

• Work with production teams to set, track, and execute daily and weekly goals that take into account personnel and equipment constraints but support overall rate targets

• Establish high-accuracy means of communication for both estimated hardware needs and completion dates

• Leverage SQL or Python Queries and Excel databases to identify hardware shortages for upcoming builds and land lead the charge to mitigate these risks

Data Management:

• Maintain product master data, product lifecycle, and develop expertise in in-house systems and reports.

• Maintain accuracy and audit bill of materials in MRP systems in preparation for production

• Manage relevant purchase order master data to ensure timely delivery and provide production with dependable delivery signals

• Analyze supply chain data and report out metrics

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of related experience in material or production planning, purchasing, contract negotiation, or related areas.

• Familiarity with ERP and MRP systems.

• Experience in multitier Bill of Materials and job management.

• Proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, MS Excel, and Project.

• Experience navigating multitier Bill of Materials and work orders

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Aerospace, Defense, Automotive or Consumer Electronics industry experience

• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.

• APICS certification and Lean Six Sigma certification are advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented mindset.

• Proven success working on cross-functional new product introduction projects, completing cost models, and negotiating

• Technical knowledge in a commodity – for example, cables and harnessing, electronic parts, machining, sheet metal fabrication, tube bending and assembly, weldment assembly, soft goods etc.

Additional Skills and Experience:

• Ability to travel up to 10%, including potential international travel.

• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment.

As required by the Equal Pay Transparency Act, Epirus provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.

For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is:

$77,700—$90,600 USD
