We believe we’re at the start of a new American Revolution. You can feel it in the quality of founders who’ve applied to our program this year. The ambition and depth of what people are building right now is inspiring.

And as much as we wish we could invest in all of them, we can’t. We need help. So a few months back, we started building an internal resource for Black Flag applicants — a list of investors actively backing the industries they’re building in.

Pretty quickly, we realized the best curators of this list wasn't ourselves. It was the founders who are in it every day, building and raising right now.

We surveyed hundreds of active deep tech founders with one question:

“Which investors do you recommend most often to other deep tech founders?”

Hundreds of founders responded. Hundreds of funds were nominated. We tallied the results and built what we think represents the most active deep tech investors, all recommended by the founders building right now.

We can’t do this alone, and we're not looking to. We believe this list represents the catalyst for the next decade of technological greatness, and these investors are all playing a pivotal role.
