About the Role

Assembly Integration & Test Technician

At Reflect, you will be expected to move fast, have a lot of ownership and, most importantly, be able to effect change. If this excites you, we are interested in hearing about your best work and accomplishments across any domain and from any points in your life.

About the Role

As a Spacecraft Integration Technician, you’ll be at the heart of assembling and validating our spacecraft from the ground up. From joining mechanical structures and routing harnesses, to running system-level checkouts and environmental tests, you’ll bring each subsystem together into one cohesive vehicle. You’ll collaborate closely with design, test, and analysis teams, ensuring that every bolt, connector, and software build works in harmony before we send it to orbit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical and electrical integration of spacecraft subsystems, from bench assembly to final flight build

• Develop assembly procedures, test plans, and integration workflows for flight hardware

• Troubleshoot and debug hardware and software anomalies during integration and test

• Ensure proper configuration control and documentation at every stage of assembly

• Collaborate with test engineers on vibration, thermal vacuum, and other environmental testing

• Own the spacecraft through final integration, guiding it from prototype to launch readiness

Ideal Qualifications

• Extensive experience with system-level integration of aerospace hardware (satellites, launch vehicles, etc.)

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams

• Hands-on skill set in both mechanical assembly and electrical test/validation (oscilloscopes, DMMs, etc.)

• Ability to navigate fast-paced integration schedules and pivot when encountering unexpected challenges

• Familiarity with spacecraft environmental testing protocols and requirements

Even if you don’t meet 100% of the above qualifications, we are likely still interested in hearing from you. Hiring exceptional individuals is our #1 priority, and we believe that exceptional people often have highly unusual backgrounds.

We are also interested in carving out unique roles for unconventional people that we are excited about working with.
