About the RoleWe're seeking an Assembly Technician to build and test our revolutionary robotic systems. This is an exciting opportunity to apply hands-on manufacturing expertise to cutting-edge robotics technology. We're looking for detail-oriented technicians ready to partner closely with our production manager and the broader engineering team to assemble systems. This role is on-site at our manufacturing facility in Glen Cove, NY. This is a first shift position (Monday-Friday, daytime hours).

In this role, you will: • Assemble production robots and components according to specifications

• Report quality and process issues to Production Supervisor

• Maintain safe working environment following company and industry standards

• Manage material handling and distribution to work stations

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years experience in mass production environments

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Strong attention to detail

• Effective communication skills

• Ability to prioritize competing tasks

• Collaborative team player

Preferred Qualifications• Associate's or Bachelor's degree

• Experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing

• Machine shop equipment experience

• OSHA knowledge

Compensation and Benefits:This is a full-time, hourly position with a pay range of $30.00 to $36.00 per hour, depending on experience. Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at Standard Bots. All full-time employees are eligible for employee stock options. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k).
