About the Role

Chief of Staff

Who we are

Picogrid builds hardware and software infrastructure to connect and control the systems that power critical industries. Our platform unifies sensors, platforms, and operators to power mission planning, autonomous system control, and real-time decision-making.

We partner directly with operators, technology companies, and federal agencies to deliver rapidly deployable, mission-critical capabilities where they’re needed most, often on short timelines and in challenging conditions. Our technology is trusted in active operations, not just test environments, and we move quickly to close real-world capability gaps for those on the front lines.

Joining Picogrid means working on high-impact problems at the intersection of autonomy, national security, and cutting-edge technology. You’ll be part of a small, elite team that builds and ships systems used by the leading organizations around the world. We operate with urgency, ownership, and a deep respect for the mission.

Role Overview

We’re hiring a Chief of Staff to partner directly with the CEO and executive team to drive company-wide initiatives across operations, growth, and product. This role is both strategic and executional—you’ll help define Picogrid’s long-term direction while ensuring today’s priorities get done with precision and speed.

You’ll sit at the center of the company’s most critical decisions, managing relationships with investors and government partners, and ensuring the organization scales without losing momentum. The ideal candidate thrives in high-pressure environments and executes relentlessly.

• Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable systems and processes.

• Represent the CEO in high-stakes internal and external meetings.

• Act as a force multiplier for leadership—anticipating needs, resolving issues early, and ensuring organizational alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience in defense technology, aerospace, or a similarly complex operational environment.

• Strong understanding of government policy, acquisition, or program management at a fast-paced technology company.

• Proven ability to execute complex, cross-functional projects under tight deadlines.

• Former founder or early employee at a venture-backed tech company

• Experience in product development or operations

• Background in government policy or defense acquisition
